Dr. Manveet Singh – BDS
Dentist
Manveet graduated from India in 2007 and moved to New Zealand in 2008. He has a special interest in preventative dentistry where regular contact with his patients gives him the opportunity of detecting and treating early dental symptoms that may occur, before causing patients’ pain, discomfort and emergency dental treatment.
He enjoys learning the latest technology by regularly attending seminars and workshops to up skill in the use of new equipment and dental materials.
He looks forward to providing quality dental care to his patients in an environment that includes comfort, trust and dental education.
Dr. Philippa Corcoran – BDS
Dentist
Philippa graduated in 1998 from Otago with a BDS(Credit). She has been practicing for over 20 years in NZ and the UK and has served the Matamata community for 8 years.
She practices all aspects of general dentistry to a high standard and is particularly experienced in restoring teeth and improving smiles with white filling, and in root canal treatment. She is also trained administer the facial anti-wrinkle treatment Xeomin.
She has two children and in her spare time she enjoys training and competing her showjumping horse, as well as skiing.
Dr. Graham Fulton
Dentist
Graham is dual qualified in both Dentistry and Medicine. He graduated BDS with Commendation from the University of Glasgow in 2001 and MBChB from Edinburgh in 2010. He has had a rich and varied career which has spanned a large scope of Dentistry both in his native Scotland and New Zealand. He has a wide base of experience in hospital based Medicine, particularly Maxillofacial Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
Graham has gained his Diploma in the Membership of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPS) along with his Surgical exams as Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MRCS). He is a former Maxillofacial Surgery Registrar and is comfortable performing basic Oral Surgical procedures in Dental Practice.
Graham fosters an interest in expedition medicine and has acted in this capacity as a visiting Dentist in the Apurimac region of Peru along with a role as a Dive Medic/Dentist for a Conservation trip to Belize. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and being a part time stay at home Dad to his daughter(which has been the toughest part of his career to date!)
He enjoys all Aspects of Dentistry particularly Oral Surgery, Root Canal Treatment and the care of of anxious patient with Sedation and Hypnosis.Graham is committed to an excellent standard of Dentistry carried out in a relaxed and caring manner.
Dr. Sarah Underwood – BDS
Dentist
Sarah grew up in Matamata and graduated from Otago University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery BDS (Distinction). After graduation, she worked as a Maxillofacial and Dental House Officer at Waikato Hospital, where she gained invaluable surgical skills, experience with dental and medical emergencies and treating medically compromised patients.
Following this, Sarah worked at a private practice in Hamilton for 5 years, along with some part time work in Cambridge and a short stint here at Family Dental Centre. Sarah enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and has built great relationships with specialists in the Waikato to refer to, and consult with about difficult cases. She is confident to seek second opinions and will always do her utmost to care for her patients. She strives to educate patients to improve oral health and stabilise disease for life.
Sarah and her husband Khan are dairy farming in TePoi, and have a young son, Hugo.
Sarah is pleased to be able to come back to work in her local community.
Sarah Hall
Hygienist
Sarah graduated in 2002 at Otago University with a Bachelor of Health Science degree specialising in Dental Hygiene. Having practiced in Tasmania and New Zealand, she has gained over 16 years of experience in Orthodontics, Periodontal therapy, Implant maintenance and General dentistry.
She is passionate about preventive dental health and treating gum disease. Sarah will teach you homecare techniques and together with regular dental hygiene appointments, you can achieve a healthy mouth benefiting your overall health.
In her spare time, she enjoys the great outdoors with her family and do a lot of mountain cycling and bushwalks.
Melanie
Dental Technician
Melanie has over 15 years experience as a Dental Technician, graduating from The University of Otago in 2002, with a Diploma in Dental Technology. She later gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology with Credit in 2007. She worked for various laboratories in Cambridge and Hamilton before All About Dentures was born in 2014. She is dedicated to working with her patients from start to finish to provide them with dentures that are customised to fit their individual needs, from perfect pearly whites to dentures that naturally blend to provide some character.
Melanie visits the Family Dental Centre every Tuesday and Thursday on demand.
